After high school I attended Broome Tech. In 1963 I married Art (Butch) Talhelm-class of '59.
When I graduated from Broome Tech in 1964, we moved south (before it was the "in" thing to do).
Our two children were raised in Wilmington, NC and then 10 yrs. ago we moved
here to Raleigh. We have two grandchildren who live in Wilmington.
The most outstanding thing that has happened in my life since the birth of my children is when Art received a heart transplant in April of 1998. We feel very fortunate that a family in Durham, NC was willing to give him the ultimate second chance. I am District Sales Administrator for RadioShack. It is a good company to be affiliated with and I enjoy my job. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in September. Thanks to those of you who are "engineering" this reunion. |
