Benjamin Barrow (1849 - 19??) was born
in March 1849 in Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England, (now London borough of Islington)
to Benjamin L. Barrow (1819 - 1???) and Margaretta Barrow (1827 - 1905). His father,
Benjamin L. Barrow, was a watchmaker, a profession for which Clerkenwell
was especially famous.
Benjamin Barrow was a professor of music and director of music at
the Borough Theatre, in Stratford, East London. He was also a prolific composer and arranger,
with many popular titles to his credit:
